Saint Malachy was an Irish saint, who was the first to be cannonised by the pope. He is famous for his Prophecy of the popes. It was a list of 112 future Popes of Roman Catholic Church begining with Pope Celestine II. He describes each Pope with their attributes including the current Pope, Benedict XVI. He described the present Pope as the Glory of Olive.

The name of Benedict XVI was Joseph Ratzinger, and nobody thought that he might have something relating to Olive. But after being selected as the Pope, he took the name 'Benedict XVI'. Benedict was a saint who founded the congrigation 'The Benedictine Order' with the symbol of Olive. So the prophecy is found to be accurate till this time.
The shocking news is that he is the 111th Pope of Roman Catholic Church. The last one he described is the 'Peter the Roman'-the 112th Pope. Saint Malachy prophecy tells that he will be the last Pope, and the church will be destroyed during his times. His Prophecy tells in Latin as "

This is transalated in to English as
"In the extreme persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations:
and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills will be destroyed,
and the terrible judge will judge his people.
The End."
So, According to his prophecy, the next Pope will be the antichrist who cause the complete destruction of Rome and the church.
The Bible, 'The Book' also revels in 'Revelations' that 'the Women' will be destroyed because of her unfaithful deeds. Revelations describe this women as the one who is surrounded by Gold with the power to control the world. In Bible, 'She' always means the church. As you can see, the pope holds the kingship in Rome and has the power to control the world. According to the church, Pope is the representative of Jesus in the world. Nut Jesus was humble and simple. He never had wealth nor showed political power. All Satan wanted was to show the world his power and glory. That was the temptation of Christ. Now what the church shows the world is its power and glory.
